%X considering the crisis of the stories put forward from diverse theoretical approaches, this article addresses the possibilities of narrative discourses to de£¿ne and outline the concept of identity, particularly latin-american identity. the writer presents six dif£¿culties to approach the topic and arrives at a proposal oriented towards facing identifying discourses.
