%0 Journal Article %T Mudan£żas nas pr¨˘ticas de autoconsumo dos produtores familiares: estudo de caso no sul do brasil %A Sacco dos Anjos %A Fl¨˘vio %A Velleda Caldas %A N¨˘dia %A Griep Hirai %A Wanda %J Agroalimentaria %D 2010 %I Universidad de los Andes %X the process of commoditization of agriculture and specialization of production has changed the social conditions of life to the rural families of southern brazil. in this context, the study is devoted to analyze the main changes that took place on the practices of self-consumption. the families abandon these practices due to the objective of to increase the level of income and the scarcity of labor in theirs units of production. at the same time, the consumption of products purchased externally has been growing. this phenomenon is important to show that we are facing the emergence of a process of erosion of a culture typically peasant, that marked the historical and social formation in southern brazil. this work is based on a qualitative research carried out between the year 2006 and 2008 on rural localities of the region of pelotas, state of rio grande do sul. the authors realized 36 interviews with farmers and members of the family farming, as well as to agents of the rural official extension and other social actors. %K self-consumption %K family farming %K commoditization of agriculture %K rio grande do sul %K brazil. %U http://www.scielo.org.ve/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&pid=S1316-03542010000100007&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en
