%0 Journal Article %T Hymenopteros parasitoides de insectos asociados a las plantaciones de cacao, en la regi¨®n costera del estado Aragua, Venezuela %A Garc¨ªa R %A Jos¨¦ Luis %A Montilla %A Rafael %J Agronom¨ªa Tropical %D 2010 %I Scientific Electronic Library Online %X a list of the natural enemies of the order hymenoptera is presented obtained in the laboratory breeding of insects collected in cocoa, theobroma cacao l., plantations in the villages of choron¨ª and cuyagua cumboto, aragua state. a total of 23 entries are included, which correspond to genera and species of hymenoptera that parasitize insects that eat the cacao plant. the most important species were found attacking pupae of the complex species carmenta spp. (sesiidae) were calliephialtes sp. (ichneumonidae), brachymeria spp. (chalcididae) (two species) and promicrogaster sp. (braconidae). other parasitoids that emerged of nymphs and adults of scales, of blth coccidae and pseudococcidae (hemiptera), were: blepyrus sp. and anagyrus sp. (encyrtidae); chartocerus sp. and signiphora sp. (signiphoridae); coccophagus sp. (aphelinidae); lecanobius sp. (eupelmidae) and two genres not determined of eulophidae and eurytomidae. forcipestricis sp. (encyrtidae) emerged from pupae forcipomyia sp. (diptera). the horiola and bolbonota (hemiptera: membracidae) of eggs, adults emerged oligosita sp. (trichogrammatidae). from cocoa trees affected by dieback (lasodiplodia theobromae), among other natural enemies, were obtained: heterospilus falcatus (braconidae); plynops sp.
