%0 Journal Article %T Desempenho e diverg¨ºncia gen¨¦tica de cenoura 'Bras¨ªlia' em fun£¿£¿o da proced¨ºncia das sementes %A Grangeiro %A Leilson C %A Azev¨ºdo %A Pascalle E de %A Nunes %A Glauber Henrique de S %A Dantas %A Mara Suyane M %A Cruz %A Cla¨²dia A %J Horticultura Brasileira %D 2012 %I Associa??o Brasileira de Olericultura %R 10.1590/S0102-05362012000100023 %X the experiments were carried out at the universidade federal rural do semi-arido, in mossor¨®, rio grande do norte state, brazil, from august to november 2007 and 2008. the performance and genetic divergence of carrot 'bras¨ªlia', depending on the source of the seeds was evaluated. the experimental design was of complete blocks design, with eight treatments and four replications. the treatments consisted of the sources of carrot seeds 'brasilia', provided by sakata, embrapa hortali£¿as, tecnoseed, hortec, feltrin, agristar/topseed, seminis and isla. the variables dry mass of shoot and root, total, marketable and non- marketable roots yield, staining of the roots (hue, chroma and brightness), soluble solids and genetic divergence were measured. the 'bras¨ªlia' carrot presented the performance and quality standards within the cultivar, for the conditions of the experiments. however, it was different, especially in production and coloring characteristics. %K daucus carota %K production %K root color. %U http://www.scielo.br/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&pid=S0102-05362012000100023&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en
