%X this scientific note analyzes a review of the scientific literature carry out in the genus prosopis in pampa del tamarugal, mainly in physiological and ecological aspects of the species. it also includes biological descriptions of prosopis burkartii mu£¿oz, an endangered species in the area, whose scientific focus should necessarily include ontogenetic studies in the next years.
