%0 Journal Article %T Processo de Projeto Integrado e desempenho ambiental de edifica£¿£¿es: os casos do SAP Labs Brazil e da Amplia£¿£¿o do CENPES Petrobras %A Figueiredo %A Francisco Gitahy de %A Silva %A Vanessa Gomes da %J Ambiente Constru¨ªdo %D 2012 %I Associa??o Nacional de Tecnologia do Ambiente Constru¨ªdo %R 10.1590/S1678-86212012000200007 %X the integrated design process (idp) encourages multidisciplinary collaboration among several actors involved, from the beginning of the design. the aim of this research study was to investigate how idp can contribute to a better environmental performance of buildings, based on two case studies carried out in brazil. the methodological approach was based on the previous establishment of theoretical propositions - in this case, the ipd theoretical framework, consisting of the fundamental elements of this approach - to guide data collection and analysis of two projects with ambitious environmental goals. this paper aims to present the main findings related to case study documentation and data analysis, which consisted ofe positioning of the cases studies in relation to the theoretical framework, as well as to discuss the main lessons learned. the results indicate that in both projects the existing ipd elements had a positive influence on the achievement of the overall targets. however, none of them completely incorporated the fundamental methodological elements that characterize the ipd. %K sustainability %K architecture %K environmental performance %K design process. %U http://www.scielo.br/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&pid=S1678-86212012000200007&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en
