%X this paper deals on the discussion about current state's classification/categorization, from the weberian proposal on the democratic and rule of law as the ideal type of state. this work presents a state of art revision on concepts about the state and its main challenges, such as: legitimacy crisis, lack of rule of law states and violence (within the state).
