%X the presence of youngia japonica, a weed native of southeastern asia, is reported for the first time in argentina. it was observed as ruderal and invading gardens in tucum¨¢n and entre r¨ªos provinces. the arrival of the species to this country is estimated as recent. a description and illustration of the plant are given.
