%X the macroseismic study of the murind車 earthquake (october 18, 1992) has been carried out according to the shebal赤n methodology ((1974). the seismic event affected the urab芍 antioqueˋo region and the epicentre was tracked down in the eastern part of the municipality of murind車 with an estimated maximum intensity of xo (mm). the direction of maximum elongation traced by the rupture model shows great concordance with the dipping and azimuth data of the murind車 fault proposed by authors such as montes and sandoval (2001) and paris et al. (2000), which is associated as the generator of the seismic event.
