%0 Journal Article %T El castellano hablado en un ¨¢rea de contactos %A Contreras Oyarz¨²n %A Constantino %J Bolet¨ªn de filolog¨ªa %D 2009 %I Scientific Electronic Library Online %R 10.4067/S0718-93032009000100002 %X this is a dialectal variation study of the spanish language spoken in a southern area of chile, a dialectal variety whish is characterized by its: a) colateral geographical nature vis a vis the urban centers; b) constant contact with mapudungun (the language of the mapuche people). the variations are observed in oral texts -essentially narrative ones- taken directly from adult peasants who are either spanish monolinguals or spanish-mapudungun bilinguals. our analysis while including different levels of linguistic structures has facilitated the verifying of some form usages coming from mapudungun, as well a finding similarities and differences between both groups of speakers. %K dialectology %K geographical variation %K languages in contact %K mapuche influence on chilean spanish. %U http://www.scielo.cl/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&pid=S0718-93032009000100002&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en
