%X the authors report the presence of eratyrus mucronatus (stal, 1859) (hemiptera, reduviidae, triatominae) infected with trypanosoma cruzi, in an urban peridomiciliar area (universidad de oriente, n¨²cleo de anzo¨¢tegui, anzo¨¢tegui state, venezuela), what represents, to our knowledge, the first report of the species for this state. the epidemiological importance of this finding is emphasized.
