%X this article gives a critical edition of a fragment attributed to anatole in alexandria coislin anthology, an anthology of byzantine 9th-10th century. first, anatole is located briefly in its historical context. its importance for the calculation of easter date can not be overstated, he had brought against the 19-year cycle, enneakaide-ka¨ºkateris in the christian world. in this article, several contentious or unclear aspects of the fragment quoted in the aanthology coislin are discussed. follows a critical edition of greek text and an annotated translation.
