%X la situa, a fiesta celebrated by the incas, is mentioned in many 16th and 17th century colonial documents. one of them is cristobal de molina¡¯s account, which is the most complete and detailed in comparison to other chroniclers. in this article, we will attempt to analyze four aspects of the la situa de molina narrative: the physical space where it took place; the possible records of its spaces, structures and cults; and its political and ideological aspects.
