%0 Journal Article %T Aplicaci¨®n del modelo hidrol¨®gico-swat-en una microcuenca agr¨ªcola de La Pampa ondulada %A Behrends Kraemer %A Felipe %A Chagas %A Celio Ignacio %A V¨¢zquez Am¨¢bile %A Gabriel %A Palac¨ªn %A Esteban Anselmo %A Santanatoglia %A Oscar Jos¨¦ %A Castiglioni %A Mario Guillermo %A Massobrio %A Marcelo Juan %J Ciencia del suelo %D 2011 %I Scientific Electronic Library Online %X a hydrological model is often the first step for the development of spatial decision systems in order to identify vulnerable areas to the pollution by nutrients, pesticides as well as biological contaminants. the swat model was developed to predict the impact of land management on water, agrochemicals and sediments in hydrographical basins with different soils, land uses and practices for long time periods. this model is being used all over the world but it has not been applied in argentina until present. the swat model was used in an agricultural microbasin in the rolling pampa (argentina) and was calibrated and validated using runoff values measured in situ. good efficiencies were found in a daily scale (r2: 0.55; r2 ens: 0.52) and poor efficiencies in a monthy scale (r2: 0.34; r2 ens: 0.04). during the calibration period, runoff was overestimated by 31.8% and 32.6% for the monthly and daily scale, respectively, while in the validation period, runoff was overestimated by 42.5% for the monthly scale and by 41.2% for the daily scale. the application of the swat model in this agricultural microbasin has been successful and leading to the inclusion of this model in future experiments. %K hydrological modeling %K runoff %K agricultural pollution %K no-tillage. %U http://www.scielo.org.ar/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&pid=S1850-20672011000100008&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en
