%X this paper is aimed first to think about the possibility of seeing ranci¨¨re as a "master of suspicion" according to his critical analysis of the explanatory pedagogy, and then to analyze whether the proposal of ranci¨¨re/jacotot might become a political event in education. the condition for it would lie in the fact that the thesis of ranci¨¨re could become an irruption in badiou's terms, and that it could be characterized as a political event in education to the point of causing its crisis.
