%X in this paper we address the question "what are the dynamics and benefits of the collective construction of knowl-edge?" through participant observation regarding the collaborative construction of a paper for the latin ibero american congress of technology management, altec 2011, and through the analysis of its twenty-five versions. the results provide elements for the study of research groups' dynamics from the point of production procedures, considering second-order products.
