%0 Journal Article %T Vacunaci車n de gripe en niˋos con diagn車stico de diabetes mellitus tipo 1 en un 芍rea suburbana de Madrid %A Rivero Mart赤n %A M.J. %A Alc芍zar Villar %A M.J. %A Montes Bentura %A D. %A Navarro Moreno %A C. %A Sanz Fern芍ndez %A M. %J Pediatr赤a Atenci車n Primaria %D 2011 %I Asociaci車n Espa?ola de Pediatr赤a de Atenci車n Primaria (AEPap) %R 10.4321/S1139-76322011000300004 %X objective: to determine the rate of flu vaccination in the group of patients followed in our hospital because of type 1 diabetes. methods: a descriptive study is conducted in patients with type 1 diabetes, analyzing the rate of vaccination against influenza. results: 37 patients were included (male/female: 1.6/1). the mean age was 9.7 years and the mean duration of disease 3 years. 51.3% patients have been vaccinated against influenza in 2010 versus 64.86% in 2009. children with a disease evolution between 3 and 6 years are the least vaccinated (22% vaccinated), compared to the rest (56%). conclusions: vaccination coverage against influenza virus is low in our area, although higher than the referred in spanish population (36.7%). recommendation on influenza vaccination is required in diabetic patients. %K influenza %K diabetes %K vaccination %K vaccination coverage. %U http://scielo.isciii.es/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&pid=S1139-76322011000300004&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en
