%0 Journal Article %T Projetos para os filhos e estrat¨¦gias de socializa£¿£¿o: a perspectiva de pais e m£¿es %A Wagner %A Adriana %A Tronco %A Cristina Benites %A Gon£¿alves %A Jaqueline da Silva %A Demarchi %A Karina Adriani %A Levandowski %A Daniela Centenaro %J Psicologia & Sociedade %D 2012 %I Associa??o Brasileira de Psicologia Social %R 10.1590/S0102-71822012000100014 %X this study aimed to identify fathers and mothers' desired projects related to their children, and strategies used to achieve them in the educative process. eight couples, with an average social-economic-cultural level, were home interviewed. they had at least one school age child and lived at porto alegre. interview content analysis made possible to identify projects such as: professional training, personal development, family constitution. it was also possible to identify a category of answers that was called freedom for the children to build their own projects. professional training investment, comfort investment, dialogue, care, egalitarian treatment between children, respect by children's interests and pedagogical instrumentalization were perceived as strategies used by these parents to achieve their projects. professional training was seen by the participants as highly worth it. all parents interviewed prospect their children in an adult life. %K family educative process %K life projects %K socialization strategies %K parenthood. %U http://www.scielo.br/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&pid=S0102-71822012000100014&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en
