%0 Journal Article %T Julgamento de colinearidade e percep£¿£¿o de distancia exoc¨ºntrica em campo aberto %A Santill¨¢n %A Javier Enrique %A Marques %A Susi Lippi %A Silva %A Jos¨¦ Aparecido da %J Psicologia USP %D 2011 %I Universidade de S?o Paulo %R 10.1590/S0103-65642011005000007 %X the purpose was to investigate experimentally the observers¡ä performance in an original task based on judgments of collinearity in the open field (dimensions 20 x 30 m). thirty subjects participated in the experiment. the stimuli were vertical stakes of different heights, four fixed and four movable. the task was to adjust the two moving stimuli (via a remote control) in order to put them collinear with the other two stimuli fixed on the ends of each diagonal. an analysis of variance (anova) was carry on, revealing only an significant effect for the factor ¡®mobile stimulus¡¯ (f(3,473)=69,86 p<0,001) and a systematicity on the distribution of errors. the small variations in the perceived exocentric distance (with constant errors ten times lower than those found when assessing the egocentric distance) and the relationship with the errors made when estimating the egocentric distances may indicate that the frames of reference elicited by this task of colinearity, although it may be based on exocentric cues, is scaled by an egocentric factor. %K visual perception %K space perception %K distance perception %K collinearity perception %K psychophysics. %U http://www.scielo.br/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&pid=S0103-65642011000100013&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en
