Descripción de un caso de amebiasis en colon por E. Histolytica en el Hospital San Rafael de Alajuela

this is a case of intestinal amebiasis presented at the san rafael de alajuela hospital, in a male patient of 42 years old, suffering from a bloody diarrhea, with an evolution of three weeks. also be has a diffuse abdominal pain, progressive loss of weight and appetite associated with asthenia, adynamia and difficulty passing stool. a colonoscopy with a biopsy was performed and revealed an intestinal inflammatory disease due to of the presence of trophozoites of entamoeba histolytica.
