Reintervenciones por complicaciones después de realizada colecistectomía laparoscópica

Abstract:

over past years some centers with experience in laparoscopic cholecystectomy have published the complications and treatment of this procedure. the aim of present paper is to describe the experience in 23 patients re-operated on due to the postoperative complications of above mentioned procedure carried out in the national center of minimal access surgery with the report of the results obtained. a longitudinal, retrospective and descriptive study was conducted to review the medical records of the patients re-operated on due suspicion of complications after the laparoscopic cholescystectomy. twenty three patients were re-operated on (0.2 %) with a man age of 49 years (range 22 to 73 years, sd ± 10). the re-laparoscopy was the route for the re-intervention (70 %) and only 3 (13 %) patients required open surgery and it is the endospic retrograde cholangiopancreatography is a useful procedure to fulfill the solution of some of these complications. the mean surgical time in the re-interventions was of 67 min (range 30-120 min), hospital stay had a mean of 4 and 5 days, respectively. there were 2 patients (9 %) wit a late re-intervention at 72 hours after cholecystectomy and deceased with septic shock pictures. laparoscopy is an appropriate procedure for the re-interventions in patients with suspicion of complications after laparoscopic cholecystectomy with less morbidity and mortality over other procedures and its effectiveness for treatment of these complications is demonstrated.
