Abstract: along this article, the creation of instances and organisms of accreditation for the engineering career in diverse countries, in the frame of the processes of convergence and differentiation of the systems of top education during the last decade it is analyzed. for it, the concept of accreditation is checked in the area of top education, the differences between national and international authorized organisms, the diverse international agreements orientated to the recognition of the international practice of the engineering, and some dilemmas in relation about teaching engineering in the medium term.
