our western society runs fast in the production and accumulation of data, information and knowledge which nurture and carry forward the sciences applied to sport, though we find pretty evidences to sustain yet the lack of information and wrong orientation about woman？s potential and role in physical and sporting activities. to attain equity, justice and equality is necessary to study the present situation, with plenty of beliefs and false myths, in order to dismantle them through reflection, argumentation and true knowledge that allow the pursuit of enjoying the pleasure of the right to physical activity and sport for women.
