Problems of Optimisation of Flows Distribution in the Network

Abstract:

The purpose of this article is to provide a stochastic model of network flows based on the Erlang time distribution for vehicles moving in succession, which allows us to describe the flows of high density. We used a graph representation and introduced a structure of matrices и to store all necessary information about the network flows for analytical modelling. In this paper, the classification of network nodes is given as well as the criteria of optimisation of flows distribution in the network nodes. We provide an algorithm of numerical method to find out the optimal parameters of control for the type 2 node. Using the graph representation of the model, we developed methods of determination of the optimal scheme of flows distribution within the network.
