Discussion and Analysis of Power Supply Schemes of Active Optical-Fiber Electric TransducerAbstract: As the development of electronic and informational technology, Active Optical Electric Transducer (AOET) is now ready for practical usage in power systems. The design of the power supply of electronic circuits under high voltage side is a difficult technical problem for AOET. This paper introduces the basic principle of AOET, including the current AOET and voltage AOET. It shows that the power supply scheme is the same in current AOET and voltage AOET since their signal processing methods and communication interface are identical. Four different primary schemes of the power supply of AOET are analyzed. The advantages and disadvantages of different plans and the ways and means of designing the schemes of the power supply in practical situations are considered and discussed. It can be used as reference when designing the power supply of AOET.
