Impact of Snowfall Amount and Snowfall Frequency on Sand-Dust Events in China
中国区域降雪量和降雪频率对沙尘天气的影响作用分析

The statistical results of meteorological data during 1970-2000 show that the sand-dust events frequency is relatively low in areas with snow cover in winter and spring in China,and the sand-dust events mainly occurs in areas with low snow coverage and snowfall amount.There is a significantly negative correlation between annual snowfall amount and sand-dust events frequency.Increase of annual snowfall amount decreases annual sand-dust events frequency obviously.Meanwhile,snowfall frequency is also an import...
