Improved certificateless hybrid signcryption scheme

This paper analyzed the Jin et al. 's certificateless hybrid signcryption scheme. It showed that there existed confidentiality attacks in their scheme under insider-security model. This paper proposed an improved certificateless hybrid signcryption scheme based on the bilinear pairings. The improved scheme was proven to be secure under GBDH assumption and CDH assumption in the random oracle model. The improved scheme overcomes the security flaw of the original one without sacrificing its high efficiency.
