DUMITRU BAGDASAR – REDISCOVERED AFTER 70 YEARS

The authors present the case of a femalepatient with Sturge-Weber disease, who wasoperated in her childhood by Dr. Bagdasarand who is hospitalized in theNeurosurgery department after 72 yearsfrom operation, because of a craniocerebraltrauma.The patient presents Dr. Bagdasar’s handwritten documents which reveal thecomplex medical personality of the onewho was the pioneer of modernneurosurgery in Romania.
