THEORETICAL SUMMARY OF THE ESSENCE OF STATE SUPPORT FOR BUSINESS

Under current economic conditions state support of business development plays a significant role in providing the sustainable business operation as a combination of domestic legal entities. Unclear definition of categorical apparatus results into inefficiency and low productivity of multiple national and regional programs to promote entrepreneurship. It demonstrates imperfection of theoretical framework of this problem, which, in turn, hampers practical implementation of state support measures of business development. Therefore, the disclosure of the nature and content of state support for business is of great importance. This is due to the fact that theoretical research is the basis of a more thorough future analysis.The aim of the article is to give exact definition of the state support for business. The following tasks have been solved to fulfill the task of this research: the existing definition of "the state support for business" was summarized and analyzed; the drawbacks of the above-mentioned definitions were defined and examined; the author’s concept of "the state support for business" was suggested.Scientific novelty of this study is to clarify the definition of "the state support for business", which differs from the existing ones by outlining the purpose, defining differences between state regulation and state support and taking into account certain measures and their ranging into levels.The necessity to clarify the economic content of state support for business development should be mentioned as perspective research.
