Abstract:

As situa es de acolhimento institucional de crian as e adolescentes s o medidas protetivas contra amea as ou viola es dos direitos garantidos pelo Estatuto da Crian a e do Adolescente (ECA). Ainda que com o intuito de preservar a integridade do sujeito, o acolhimento institucional pode representar um perigo ao desenvolvimento psíquico por ser um evento traumático e por oferecer, em troca dos la os familiares, vínculos instáveis e rela es afetivas apenas temporárias. O presente artigo relata a experiência de um projeto de extens o voltado às crian as e aos adolescentes de duas institui es de acolhimento do município de Rondonópolis, Mato Grosso, no qual a equipe executora utilizou-se da manifesta o das fantasias e da express o de situa es conflitivas a partir da proposi o de atividades lúdicas variadas. O trabalho evidenciou diferentes formas de abandono experimentadas pelos acolhidos. Durante o período de desenvolvimento do projeto, observou-se o aumento da autonomia das crian as e adolescentes, maior capacidade de express o, de elabora o de situa es conflitivas e melhor integra o com a equipe e os monitores. Abstract Placing children and adolescents in child residential care is a protective measure against threats to or violations of rights guaranteed by the Statute of the Child and Adolescent (ECA – Brazil). However, although the objective is to preserve the integrity of the individual, the act of placing the child or adolescent in a residential care can represent a danger to psychic development due to the fact that it may be a traumatic event and that it offers, in exchange for family ties, instable bonds and affective relationships which are only temporary, at best. The present article relates the experience of a university extension program geared towards children and adolescents living in two residential cares in the city of Rondonópolis, Mato Grosso, in which the team responsible for the project made use of the manifestation of fantasies and the expression of conflictive situations by proposing various ludic activities. The work evidenced three different forms of abandon experienced by the sheltered individuals. During the time in which the extension project was developed, was observed an increase in the autonomy of the children and adolescents, a greater capacity of expression and elaboration of conflictive situations, as well as better integration with the team and its monitors.
