A COMPARISON OF LIFE SATISFACTION AND PHYSICAL SELF-PERCEPTION OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND COMPUTER TEACHER CANDIDATESKeywords: Life satisfaction , Physical self-perception , Body , Teacher candidate , Sports Abstract: This study has been conducted with the aim of comparing the life satisfaction and physical self-perception of the Physical Education and Sports and Computer and Instruction Technology in terms of gender and department. The data in the study, which was obtained by using life satisfaction and physical self-perception scale on 233 students, were analyzed according to independent variables with the t test and the Pearson correlation analysis. In the result, while a meaningful difference was found in life satisfaction and physical self-perception in terms of gender (p=0.05), no meaningful difference was found life satisfaction in terms of departments (P=0.05), and a meaningful difference was found in physical self-perception in terms of departments (p=0.05). Besides, it was also found that, as body attractiveness and physical competence increased, life satisfaction increased as well.
