A RESEARCH TO FIND OUT EFFECTS OF NEGATIVE EMOTIONALITY ON STRESS OF REFEREES WORKING IN TURKEY

The study has been carried out to examine negative emotionality and stress levels of the referees working in different parts of Turkey. A total of 104 referees, 16 women and 88 men, has participated in the study. 25-question survey form for negative emotionality developed by Watson, Clark and Tellegen and the work stress scale by Baltas have been used in the study. To determine the personal qualifications of the subjects, 5-question information form has been employed. With the correlation analysis done, there is a meaningful relationship between work stress and negative emotionality but there is a negative meaningful relationship between age factor and service variables and between work stress and negative emotionality
