Proyecto Almirall : poniendo en valor el patrimonio

El Proyecto Almirall: Cultura y pensamiento en el siglo XIX y XX es un portal de investigación y difusión de la cultura cuyo principal objetivo es contextualizar y explicar como las corrientes culturales europeas se introdujeron en Catalu a y Espa a, y como estas marcaron e influenciaron a pensadores, intelectuales, políticos y artistas a lo largo del siglo XIX y los primeros a os del XX. El artículo revisará diversos aspectos importantes en el desarrollo del proyecto y sus líneas de futuro frente al momento de crisis. Bien es sabido que las bibliotecas, entre otras muchas funciones, juegan un papel capital en la intermediación entre los usuarios y los documentos. Este aspecto se acrecienta en bibliotecas patrimoniales por la singularidad de sus fondos y las necesidades de especialistas e investigadores en el estudio de un periodo histórico o movimiento filosófico, artístico, político El presente artículo quiere mostrar la experiencia de un proyecto bibliotecario en el que la biblioteca va un poco más allá de la mera mediación y pasa a coordinar un servicio que contextualiza sus obras y patrimonio bibliográfico. Un proyecto en el que investigadores y bibliotecarios trabajan conjuntamente para generar conocimiento y valor en base a una colección de obras patrimoniales.The Projecte Almirall: Cultura i pensament dels segles xix i xx is a portal for the research and dissemination of nineteenth and twentieth century culture and thinking, the main aim of which is to contextualize and explain how European cultural currents of thought entered Catalonia and Spain, and how they came to influence thinkers, intellectuals, politicians and artists during the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The article reviews various key aspects of the project and its future development at a time of crisis. -- It is well known that libraries play a crucial role, among others, as intermediaries between users and documents. This role acquires even greater importance in heritage libraries because of the uniqueness of their collections and the needs of specialists and researchers studying a particular historical period or philosophical, artistic or political movement. This article presents the experience of a library project in which the library seeks to go a little further in its role of mediation and to assume the coordination of a service that contextualises its works and bibliographic heritage. In this project researchers and librarians work together to generate knowledge and value on the foundation of a collection of heritage works.
