Portable Instrumentation Smart Sensor Labs

Data acquisition systems have been used in various applications in our world. Sensors and transducers are the heart of these systems. If any fault occurs in the system then engineer debugs the entire circuit and at the end he comes to know that problem was with the sensor so there is no use of complex DAQ systems if the signals generated from these sensors are faulty. So our project is basically to test the heart of DAQ, the sensors. The project mainly focuses on the testing and characterization of the sensors & transducers. Engineers need to determine system behavior to optimize the performance. Correct signals from sensors indicate performance of the system. This information can be used for modification of performance. Any variation in this information from the sensor, it affects the performance of the system. In general, for testing DMMs are used and oscilloscopes are used to see the characteristic curves. But the project combines the advantages of both the systems and provides better understanding to users. We are implementing the In-built testing of specific sensors and provide the output in very user friendly manner. This enables even non technical user to successfully test the sensor and helps in understanding the behavior of it. So, no need to carry DMMs and big oscilloscopes to do the critical testing. Just take the sensor and plug it into our system. Direct results will be obtained whether the sensor is working or not in real time.
