Pre o dlhoval Sókratés Asklépiovi kohúta? Skeptická interpretácia poslednych Sokratovych slov z dialógu Faidón (Why Socrates owed the Cock to Asclepius? Skeptical Interpretation of Socrates’ Last Words in the Phaedo)Keywords: Plato , Socrates , Phaedo , death , Asclepius , skepticism Abstract: This study argues for skeptical interpretation of Socrates’ last words in the dialogue Phaedo. Author analyses two passages, concerning health of the soul and concludes, that Plato’s position towards the immortality of soul can not be evaluated as dogmatic. Socrates’ last words remain therefore a puzzle with twofold meaning, connoting skeptic position.
