Molecular Technics Used in Microbiology

The usage of molecular technics in molecular microbiology is getting widespread day by day. In this review general information and principles of current methods which are PFGE (Pulsed Field Gel Electrophoresis), PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction), MLST (Multi Locus Sequence Typing), MALDI-TOF (Matrix Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionisation - Time of Flight) and 16S rDNA sequence typing were mentioned.
