Akademik literatürde pek de inilmeyen bir konu olarak Türkiye’de gazi ve ehit ailelerine sa lanan sosyalpolitikalar dile getirmek ve geli tirilebilecek yeni sosyal politikalara dikkat ekmek amac yla yap lan bu al masayesinde Türkiye’de gazi ve ehit aileleri, sahip olduklar haklar konusunda genel bilgi sahibi olacakt r.Devlet taraf ndan kanunlarla belirlenen ve uygulanan haklar konusunda gazi ve ehit ailelerinin bilgi sahibiolmamas , maalesef onlar n bu haklardan tam olarak yararlanamamas demektir. Gazi ve ehit ailelerinin bubilgi eksikli inin giderilmesinde bilgi teknolojileri büyük neme sahiptir. Bilgi teknolojilerinin kullan m , bubilgi eksikli inin giderilmesinden ziyade gazi ve ehit ailelerine y nelik politika uygulama g revine sahip kamukurum/kurulu lar n n daha h zl ve daha kaliteli hizmet etmesini sa layacakt r. Pilot olarak Batman ilindeuygulanan ve geli tirilme a amas nda olan Gazi ve ehit Aileleri Bilgi Bankas Projesi ile tüm Türkiye’dekigazi ve ehit ailelerinin herhangi bir kamu kurumuna ba vuru yapmaks z n sahip olduklar haklardan otomatikolarak yararlanabilmeleri ama lanmaktad r.Social rights which are provided to war veterans and martyrs’ families is a subject that is not taken part wellenough in academic literature. The purposes of this study are talk about and call attention to these socialrights, so that war veterans and martyrs’ families will be able to have general information about them. Havingno information about social rights means not to be able to precisely benefit from these rights which are ruledand applied by the government for families of war veterans and martyrs. Information Technologies (IT) havebig importance on elimination of this lack of information. Using IT will provide oppurtunity to the publicinstitutions, which are responsible to generate and apply policies for war veterans and martrys’ families, tooffer faster and more quality service; rather than dissolving lack of information problem of war veterans andmartyrs’ families. In this article we will also try to explain a sample project from the province of Batman inTurkey. The aim of this project is provide an automatic system that war veterans and martyrs’ families canhave their rights without any request to the public institutions.
