Resistance Improvement of Escherichia coli, Isolated from Patients Applied to Clinics in Kahramanmara , Against Beta-Lactam Groups Antibiotics

In this study, resistance improvement of E.coli, isolated from patients that applied to clinics in Kahramanmara , against β-Lactam antibiotics, was investigated. Antibiograms were carried out to determine the resistance of E.coli strains. For antibiyogram, with ‘The Kirby-Bower‘s Disk Diffusion Method’ was applies. In result, Ceftizoxime (%70.58) and Imipenem (%55.88 ) were appeared as the most effective antibiotics about inhibition of E.coli growing and Ampicilin (%98.52) was appeared as the least effective antibiotics.
