Hysteresiscontrol of Multilevel Inverter

Multilevel inverters are used for converting DC to AC in places where the conversion is required. However harmonics are present in all types of multilevel inverters. This causes major problems in the output voltage as well as current. In order to reduce these harmonics, several methods are used among them hysteresis control is one of the powerful method. A three phase multilevel inverter with hysteresis current control is proposed to control the current in order to reduce the total harmonic distortion, current ripples and Control over maximum switching frequency and tested using MATLAB/Simulink.
