Archéologie amérindienne au Québec : intérêts divergents et collaboration fragile entre archéologues et communautés autochtonesKeywords: archeology , Native Communities , ethnocentrism , Late Woodland , excavation permits , legislation Abstract: In this fictional case study, a preliminary excavation agreement has been reached between the local Innu community, the Ministry of Culture and the Status of Women and an archaeological firm, in order to enable the protection of a site dated to the Late Woodland period. Following the discovery of a burial, the terms of the agreement are no longer met. This is a problematic case in Quebec archeology where the interests of different actors conflict.
