Terremoto con Liquefazione e le Prospettive della Riforma Istituzionale in Italia

The recent parliamentary elections have generated the third electoral earthquake after the elections in 1975-1976 and 1994. At that time, their effect was the dissolution of the political system built after the ‘70’s. Considering the recent crisis that seems aggravated by major geopolitical changes, the author analyzes the innovations produced at the institutional level. The author demonstrates that these are closely related to the necessity to override the hurdle that has been present in the constitutional political system for four decades. This step is needed in order to avoid the risk of its turning into a deeper phenomenon that will permeate society to its core, without overlooking the investments necessary in the political, economic and social subsystems.
