STUDY REGARDING THE CONTRIBUTION OF BAC U STUDENTS AND ATHLETES TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF ROMANIAN OLYMPISM

This paper aims to emphasize certain aspects regarding the participation of Bac u athletes in the Olympic Games. It is also a description of the Bac u athletes' participation in every edition of the Olympic Games. This description was necessary mainly to inscribe the Romanian athletes' participation in a more general historical context of the age, and also its economical context.This is also an analysis with regards to the ascending or descending number of medals obtained at the Olympic Games. The idea of this paper came when I noticed that on most websites the Bac u athletes' participation in the Olympic Games is not known, this study contributing to the formation of an organizational culture for the Faculty of Movement, Sports, and Health Sciences of Bac u.
