Business intelligence e ení v modelu MBI

The team of Department of IT, Prague University of Economics is doing a research in developing of a new reference model aimed at IT management called MBI (Management of Business Informatics). One of the significant model′s components is a specification of IT management metrics that means measures and their analytical dimensions. It represents a base for business intelligence solutions included into MBI, basically a dimensional model and analytical and planning applications. Metrics and applications are linked to processes and methods applied in the business informatics management respecting principles of IT PM (IT Performance Management) or performance management in general. The paper′s goal is only briefly to present the MBI overall concept and then in more detail its BI parts, actually on the analytical level and the level of its final use.
