Relationship Between Organizational Design and Exchange of Knowledge in Serbian Public Companies

Abstract:

Quicker and continuous changes on market place require quicker answer by organization. New business approach in modern market environment imposes a fact that there is no existence without the creation of organizational design, which support the generation of innovation processes and development of knowledge management. These processes become a precondition for success or even the survival of an organization. The goal of modern business is the development of organizational design in which the knowledge is easily shared among organization members. This study had a goal to research relationship between the elements of organizational design and efficent sharing knowledge. Basis of the research were the employees in public companies in Serbia, in the region of Srem. The results of research have indicated a several elements in organizational design, as inhibitional factors in the process of sharing knowledge in Serbian public companies. The facts that Serbia is a country in transition and that market liberalization largely reflects itself on public services’ operation, point out to the significance of subject research. Scientific information obtained by research on the title subject could be purposeful to the management of public companies in Serbia, as well as other countries in transition.
