3D Transformations in Computer Graphics Teaching

One of the subjects that is taught at the Department of Informatics, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra is the subject Computer Graphics. This subject is designed for students studying the bachelor study program of discipline Applied informatics and also for students of master study programs in specialization Computer Science. The content of the subject included 2D and 3D transformations, color processing, 3D modeling and drawing objects, fractal theory, animations, algorithms for drawing basic graphical elements in raster graphics. For the subject is created e-learning course that is used mostly for computer graphics distance learning, and of course as teaching support in others study forms, face-to-face and blended learning. In the paper we describe this course and the main attention is focused on the topic 3D modeling, drawing and transformations. At the end of article we describe created application for mentioned 3D transformations visualization.
