Abstract:

zetKredi kart kullan m n n giderek yayg nla mas , sat n alma eylemlerinde deme kolayl sa layarak hayat kolayla t rmas n n yan s ra tüketimi ve ihtiya fazlas sat n almay art rarak tüketicilerin gereksiz ürünlere sahip olmalar na ve kredi kart bor lar n demede zorluk ekmelerine neden olmaktad r. Bu ara t rma kredi kart n n kontrolsüz bir tüketici davran olan plans z sat n alma davran lar na etkisini incelemektedir. Ara t rma kapsam nda Türkiye’de sosyo-ekonomik s n f olarak en üst s n f n bir alt olan B sosyo-ekonomik s n f i erisinde yer alan akademisyenlerin kredi kart kullan mlar ele al nmaktad r. Bu ba lamda Karabük üniversitesi akademik personeline anket uygulamas yap lm t r. Anket sonucu ula lan verilere, Yüzde Analizi, Mertebeli Dereceleme, oklu Regresyon Analizi ve Tek Fakt rlü oklu Varyans Analizi (MANOVA) uygulanmaktad r. Ara t rma sonu lar na g re ara t rmaya kat lan akademisyenlerin kredi kart n kontrollü ve bilin li kulland klar ve kredi kart kullan mlar n n plans z sat n alma davran na neden olmad ifade edilebilir. AbstractAlong with providing facility in payment, the widening use of credit cards also increases consumption and causes consumers to buy non-essential products and experience difficulties in paying their credit card debts by increasing surplus purchases. This research focuses on the effects of credit cards on impulse purchase, which is an uncontrolled consumer behavior. Within the scope of the research, the use of credit cards by academicians in the socio-economic class B which comes next after the top level socio-economic class in Turkey is assessed. In this context, a survey is carried out with the academic staff of Karabuk University. The data acquired as the result of the survey is evaluated with Percentage Analysis, Staged Grading, Multiple Regression Analysis and Single Factor Multiple Variance Analysis (MANOVA). As a consequence of the research, it can be stated that the academicians who took part in this research use their credit cards in a controlled and conscious way, and that the use of their credit cards do not cause impulse purchases.
