Método de Diagnóstico para aplicar un Modelo de Madurez en PyMES de la industria del software

In the Ibero-American countries the growth of the software industry has focused in a productive structure of small and medium companies of software development. For the same can competitive position in the national and international markets they need to initiate improve-quality ways through a certification process. The maturity models that are used to improve processes, such as CMMI and/or ISO Quality Standards are complex in their understanding, difficult to implement and costly for small and medium companies of this sector. That is why the process of maturity in these organizations is still in a critical condition. In this moment, the CompetiSoft Model of Process is adjusting as a proposal to improve quality in small organizations, aimed at defining and improving their processes, with an adaptable model, understandable and accessible costs. The present article shows the results of the development and implementation of a diagnostic tool based on the CompetiSoft Model, to conduct an initial assessment and establish a process of improvement that fits in an appropriate manner to the needs of these Latin American companies.
