Abstract:

O trabalho discute contribui es oferecidas pelos paradigmas da cibercultura e da Web 2.0 às formula es sobre a avalia o da aprendizagem do aluno, em particular na modalidade da educa o a distancia, EaD. Parte-se de uma reflex o sobre os avan os e limites da avalia o em EaD para a proposi o de sua expans o a fim de abarcar a es do aluno relacionadas ao processo de navega o e aprendizagem no ciberespa o. Argumenta-se que tais a es extrapolam os limites do ambiente virtual de aprendizagem e est o relacionadas às novas práticas de intera o, colabora o, co-autoria e apropria o criativa vivenciadas por muitos alunos. Novas formas de avalia o permitem atribuir valor a essas a es e elevar a qualidade dos processos de aprendizagem.This paper centers on the contributions offered by the paradigm of cyberculture and the Web 2.0 to propositions relating to the evaluation of student learning, in particular online learning. The paper targets the advances and limitations of current practices in online education, then proposing their expansion to encompass students’ browsing and their learning process in cyberspace. It is argued that such activities reach beyond the limits of the virtual learning environment and are related to the new practices of interaction, collaboration, co-authoring and creative appropriation experienced by many students. New forms of evaluation allow for assigning value to these activities and raising the quality of learning processes.
