Negrismo y feminismo en la poesía de Excilia Salda a

El movimiento poético conocido como Negrismo fue muy importante en la literatura cubana en la primera parte del siglo XX. Dominado principalmente por hombres, la mujer negra se asoció generalmente con una imagen erótica. En la segunda mitad del siglo, un grupo de escritoras afrocubanas crean una poesía nueva e íntima basada en sus experiencias personales. En su poesía, Excilia Salda a descubre su experiencia personal y transforma la visión de la mujer negra cubana, fragmentando la imagen creada por sus antecesores. Su poesía es una contribución importante a la creación y la consolidación de una tradición de escritoras y artistas afrohispanas.The poetic movement known as Negrismo was very important in Cuban literature during the first half of the twentieth century. Dominated mainly by male writers, the black woman was generally associated with an erotic image. In the second half of the century, a group of female black writers creates a new, more insightful literary work based on their personal experiences. In her latter and intimate poetry, Excilia Salda a unfolds her personal experience and transforms the passive view of the Afro-Cuban woman, fragmenting the image created by her male antecessors. Her poetry is a very important contribution to the creation and consolidation of a tradition of Afro-Hispanic women writers and artists.
