Cuevas ludens. Juegos retóricos y gráficos en Homage to Quevedo (1969)

A partir de Homage to Quevedo (1969) del artista mexicano José Luis Cuevas, presento el tema del juego en Francisco de Quevedo, y, sobre todo, en las ilustraciones que han inspirado a J. L. Cuevas. Pongo especial atención en las reescrituras transgenéricas, transhistóricas y transculturales creadas por J. L. Cuevas. Utilizo referencias críticas y metodológicas estructuralistas, formalistas y constructivistas, a las que a ado las aportaciones de Hans Belting, George Didi-Hubermann, W. J. T. Mitchell, y las de los filósofos posmodernistas como G. Deleuze o J. Derrida. Palabras clave. Imagen iconográfica, imagen retórica, reescritura, transversalidad. From Homage to Quevedo (1969) of the Mexican artist Jose Luis Cuevas, I present the question of the game in Francisco de Quevedo, and, especially, in the illustrations that have inspired J. L. Cuevas. I put special attention in the rewritings of Quevedo’s universe in the drawings of J. L. Cuevas. I use critical and methodological references inspired in structuralism, formalism and constructivism, to that I add the contributions of Hans Belting, George Didi-Hubermann, W. J. T.
